It’s official : Palm Treo is available for purchase

With all the hype around the Palm Treo - so many leaked pictures on Engadget and Gizmodo, and on almost every other tech blog - we’re pleased to say it’s finally official.

Priced at $549 in the US, this Windows Mobile smartphone comes unlocked and besides an interesting design it features : WiFi 802.11b/g, a 320×320 touchscreen display, 2MP camera and support for microSDHC cards ( up to 32 gb ). Most of the known providers in the US are going to ship this phone at the above price, it’s going to be available through O2 and Vodafone stores to the rest - although it’s price is a bit higher ( €399 )
