While we’re not entirely sure this device wouldn’t be more suitable as an appetite arouser than a clock I have to admit it’s got me drooling. How can this be, you may ask ? It’s this simple - your favorite scent will come ‘bottled’ up in a small container which will be placed in it’s corresponding place inside the clock. No word on the price just yet.

As announced by Bedol, the water-powered clock is their first gizmo that falls under the eco-friendly category. Besides a dash of water you’re also going to need a bit of salt to power it. I for one don’t know why more devices like this one have been invested because the principle its built on is fairly simple. The electrodes inside the clock harvest the energy to power it. It comes with a roundish shape, measuring 4″ in height and 3 1/2″ in width and also comes in four different colors : Blue, Charcoal, Green and Orange.

Priced at only $16 this device is aimed at pleasing ‘green’ loving tech-savvy people and can make up for a great gift.

Well we’ve seen many useless USB powered gizmos in the past, but this one beats them all. This ‘different’ IM notifier is nothing more than a self punishing doll that hits its head with a hammer whenever your friends IM you.

Think of it this way, if this device is addressed to IM obsessed people why would they need a gizmo to announce their newly received message? Do the producers think such a person would ever leave his / her computer signed-in and move away from it ? We think not.
