USB powered cartoonish looking pole dancer

USB powered pole dancer pictureHere’s another useless way to spend $22 - buy a USB powered pole dancer. The pole dancer performs as you type and it includes software that features a daily word count, your top five typing performances and a WPM testing function. Although it would be a rather lame excuse to pretend this USB powered toy can increase your efficiency, we say why not give it a shot ? It will certainly stylize your office and draw more curious eyes towards it.

USB powered Thermometer { good for indoor / outdoor usage }

USB Powered Thermometer pictureWell, if you were looking for a way to spend $22 on some totally useless device here’s our suggestion : the USB powered thermometer.

It’s good if you’re keen on knowing the exact temperature at any given time of the day, other than that I don’t see what weather obsessed person would use it.

Here are a few of the tech specs :

Temperature Range - Inner: -40° ~ 120°
Temperature Range - Outer: -50° ~ 150°
Temperature can be captured from every second to 12 hours

Worth giving a shot ? That’s up to you.

A different IM notifier - the iKnock

USB powered IM notifier I-knock pictureWell we’ve seen many useless USB powered gizmos in the past, but this one beats them all. This ‘different’ IM notifier is nothing more than a self punishing doll that hits its head with a hammer whenever your friends IM you.

Think of it this way, if this device is addressed to IM obsessed people why would they need a gizmo to announce their newly received message? Do the producers think such a person would ever leave his / her computer signed-in and move away from it ? We think not. It’s completely useless even for IM freaks but it could make up as a good gift though, in its utterly useless purpose it still makes for a good laugh when you hear the funny head banging noise.
