Cute green looking usb desktop hub-fan

Cute green desktop usb fan pictureAny self respecting geek should own such a toy - it looks pretty coolish, although the green is a bit flashy, you’ll have something too cool you of during the hot summer days. And that’s not all, if you’re still not satisfied you’d be more than happy to find out this desk fan also doubles up as an usb hub - a 4 port one.

For $15 you’ll get this small fan that re-circulates the air ( and probably dusts off your desk as well ), a 4 port USB hub and an ON/OFF switch to shutdown the fan when you’re don’t need it. Also comes with 4 pieces of anti-dust stoppers that keep the dust away and other damages.

Fujitsu’s Lifebook U2010 { can run for 11 hours straight }

It looks like some gadget enthusiasts just like us got a sneak preview at Fujitsu’s Lifebook U2010. The Lifebook is a light and robust looking UPMC, offering a lot in matters of connectivity and disk space but failing on processing power. It comes packed with Intel’s Z530 processor clocked at 1.60GHz, a 5.6 LED back lighted touchscreen in WXGA resolution ( 1280×800), 60GB HDD ( or 64GB SSD )and can hold up only 1GB of RAM ( DDR2).

For the less tech-savvy people reading this article, the UPMC has a 1.3MP camera, WiFi a/b/g and Bluetooth connectivity. Unfortunately, the Loox U took about 1 minute and a half to boot into Windows Vista.

The Loox U will come in several flavors, like : Cool Silver, Fushia Pink, and Black and a special cover for the Japanese market. Fujitsu will release this new UMPC August 29th

Logitech offers an alternative for Wii racing fans

Logitech Wii force feedback wheel pictureUp till now Wii racing fans didn’t have too many options when it came to quality racing systems - besides the DIY wheel drive pictures we’ve seen floating on the Internet. Fortunately, Logitech’s got a word to say, actually three words : Speed Force Wireless. That’s the name of their latest contribution to Wii’s inventory - comes with force-feedback; although it was created to work with NFS : Undercover, Logitech confirms that there aren’t going to be any problem with further force-feedback racing games either. Believe it or not, although it’s called the Force Feedback Wireless racing wheel, there still is one wire involved - a USB receiver.

For all you Wii racing fans out there, get your savings ready because this one’s coming in November ( US and Europe ) priced at $99.99.

Nokia checks on air quality with the Interzone cellphone

Nokia Interzone cellphone It was about time Nokia started getting involved in the eco-friendly business. Although still a concept, the Interzone cellphone looks rather simplistic featuring a black casing that comes branded and a turn-off button - at least that’s what we’re seeing.

According to Tuvie, the cellphone comes packed with an air quality sensor. Some researchers over at Nokia’s Research Center have come up with the great idea of implementing such a feature into a cellphone. The project comes under the name of Sensor Planet, and it is said to be able to combine the physical and practical worlds through new methods of sensing.

Getting tired of living in a polluted city ? Get your Interzone phone and find the best quality and low ( to none ) polluted air.
